Meaning of Our Logo

The "nun" letter is the first letter of the Arabic word for "Nazarean" (i.e. Christian). Ever since the Islamic State used it to designate the homes of followers of Christ, it has become an international symbol for the persecution of Christians. This symbol is frequently painted on the homes of Christians targeted for persecution. In addtion to the Middle East, Christians are being persecuted in India, Asia, Africa, and elsewhere around the world. Persecutions include excessive taxation, public ridicule, torture and violence, rape, murder, unlawful detention, enslavement, unfair trial, destruction of property, and denial to assemble for worship.
