COVID Mandates: Crushing the Faithful
Leaders ask: is this a set up for the persecution of Christians in America?

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, January 20 at 4:30pm ET, Save the Persecuted Christians (STPC), and the Stop Vax Passports Task Force, will host an important discussion on Christians and COVID-19 mandates, passports and religious accommodations. It will respond to chilling published reports that the U.S. government is preparing to use appeals for exceptions to vaccine mandates on religious grounds as a database for tracking the faithful who refuse to take vaccines for Covid-19. Such a capability could, in due course, if not immediately, be used as well to penalize Christians— a horrifying new entrant in the global persecution of followers of Jesus whose numbers have just been estimated by Open Doors USA to be roughly 360 million.

Save the Persecuted Christians seeks to prevent such persecution by holding those responsible accountable and imposing costs for such crimes against humanity. This coalition-based organization is proud to partner with the Stop Vax Passports Task Force, co-sponsored by the Committee on the Present Danger: China and Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, in raising awareness about—and thwarting efforts to oppress—believers under the guise of a public health emergency. The task force is particularly concerned that digital vaccine passports are a gateway to the creation of a global tracking platform functionally equivalent to the “social credit system” the Chinese Communist Party uses to oppress Christians and others in the People’s Republic of China.

The mission of Save the Persecuted Christians is to save lives and save souls by disseminating actionable information about the magnitude of the persecution taking place globally and by mobilizing concerned Americans for the purpose of disincentivizing further attacks on those who follow Jesus.

With so much of the world’s Christian population being imprisoned and/or harassed for their beliefs, such as Christians in Nigeria, the need has never been greater for the sort of grassroots campaign STPC’s SaveUs Movement is working to foster. Its efforts are modeled after a miraculously successful one that helped free another population suffering from heavy persecution—Soviet Jews—by penalizing those in the Kremlin responsible for such repression. Through this movement, Save the Persecuted Christians endeavors to provide American policymakers with the popular support they need to effect real change worldwide and alleviate systemically the suffering being experienced by so many of those following Christ.
