TAKE ACTION: President Trump: Stand up for Syria’s Persecuted Christians
Secure a Humanitarian Corridor from Hader to Suwayda
On Monday, November 10, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa (formerly known as al-Jolani) will meet with President Donald J. Trump at the White House. Meanwhile, in Syria, Christians, Druze, and other minorities are facing an ever-growing humanitarian crisis.
People everywhere watched with horror when HTS and Bedouins attacked the Suwayda (Sweida) Governate in July 2025, with reports of killings, enforced disappearances, abductions, looting, destruction of property, and sexual and gender-based violence against women and girls. Since then, the people of Suwayda, which includes Druze and Christians, have been enduring a blockade. They are short on water, food, and medicines.
Currently, all humanitarian aid is sent through Damascus. Maybe 10 percent of the aid is making it to the victims of July’s attacks, and the people are at risk of starvation and death by thirst, according to human rights groups working in Syria.
Please take two minutes to send a letter to President Trump and your representatives in Congress to request that President Trump secure President al-Sharaa’s commitment to immediately open a secure humanitarian corridor from Hader to Suwayda in southern Syria.
The need is great, and your voice matters!
