Cry Out: International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

XSpace @PersecutedSave, 12 pm ET, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025

The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) is an annual Christian observance in November that unites people to pray for Christians facing persecution worldwide. It is held on the first Sunday of November, which is November 2, 2025, and it encourages prayer for those suffering for their faith through harassment, violence, and legal restrictions. Many churches host events, and resources are available to help individuals, groups, and churches participate, either on the designated day or throughout the month.

Purpose

  • To raise awareness of the persecution faced by Christians in various parts of the world.
  • To provide an opportunity for Christians to intercede for their brothers and sisters who are suffering for their faith.
  • To lift up persecuted believers in prayer, asking for courage, perseverance, and protection.
